The Driver​

To transform Sydney into Australia’s very own Silicon Valley, the New South Wales (NSW) Government sought a partner who could bring their Tech Central precinct vision to life. CIVIS emerged as the ideal choice, entrusted with the task of designing, building, and operating a sprawling 3,300 sqms of white-labelled flexible workspaces spread across 3 floors at the Grand Central Terminal Station.

The Solution​

  • The CIVIS Team worked with the NSW Government to create the brand name “The Quantum Terminal” (TQT), to help represent a space and community that support the tech and quantum computing ecosystem in Sydney.

  • As a heritage asset, the CIVIS and JLL PDS team thoughtfully designed and operated the space, ensuring compliance with heritage guidelines.

  • TQT offers flexible private offices, meeting spaces, and open-plan desks, alongside a dedicated 900 sqm floor that serves as a versatile event space. This dynamic area can be booked for private events or utilised as collaborative space for TQT and other neighbouring tech communities.
